Dear {Name},

I’d like to attend the upcoming Open Source Summit Japan + Automotive Linux Summit taking place July 17 -19, 2019, in Tokyo, Japan. I’ve researched many conferences – and this is THE conference to attend for developers, sysadmins, devops professionals, automotive systems engineers, R&D managers, and IT architects that want to expand their skills, solve technical issues with the best and brightest in the community, and learn/collaborate within the open source and automotive ecosystems.

Over 1,000 of the most talented individuals in the industry gather together for this event – it’s like a pop-up think tank!

Here’s how I envision my attendance at Open Source Summit Japan + Automotive Linux Summit strengthening our company:

  • Open Source Summit Japan + Automotive Linux Summit offers a variety of breakout and keynote sessions across three conference days that cover a wide range of technologies, use cases, and implementations. These sessions include presentations, technical lectures, and visionary keynotes from industry leaders. Attending these sessions will allow me to build my knowledge and learn from other community members on best practices.
  • The infamous “hallway track” at Open Source Summit Japan + Automotive Linux Summit will allow me to meet the top technical minds in the ecosystem. I hope to meet others that might face the same challenges and problems I do so that we can work together to solve technical issues now and in the future. Creating strategic partnerships at the event could be very useful in the future when we encounter new challenges.

You can learn more about Open Source Summit Japan + Automotive Linux Summit on their websites.

If I register before April 29, 2019, the fee is only $375. Included in the registration fee is access to all keynotes and sessions, access to the sponsor technology showcase, hallway tracks and lounges, continental breakfast, and morning and afternoon breaks. It also includes entrance to the onsite reception and other networking activities.

I would be happy to write a post-conference report detailing what I’ve learned, and recommend any changes we can implement to improve our practices.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I hope we can make this opportunity work.

Thanks,
